Pat and Becky Return

Pat and Becky will be coming back from Portland for a week, and we are going to try to throw down while they are here! August 8th in Allston (223 Western Ave) 5-9pm. Afterwards there will probably be some sort of get together for beer and nursing wounds.

Viking Arms and Armor

Hey all. I thought you might find it interesting to know that the guy who basically started us all playing Knattleikr, Bill Short, just came out with a book on Viking Age Norse arms and combat techniques. Given all of the fighting we end up doing in the process maybe some of us can find inspiration here...hopefully no one shows up with an axe instead of a stick to hit me with now.
